MDW 2019

It’s now the UNofficial start of summer y’all and ya girl is excited and READY!

We actually took a drive down to Ocean City NJ. And believe it or not, I haven’t been to this specific beach destination in yearsss.

(For a few reasons I was reminded of yesterday lol! ….too many people! I don’t do crowds well.)

The drive wasn’t too bad- 2hrs with pretty light traffic from Philly into Jersey. So that part wasn’t annoying.

But it was the heat & humidity that I damn sure underestimated, as well as how incredibly packed the beach would be! It was so ridiculously crowded I got turned off and decided to not change into my swimsuit.

Repeat after me: I DONT DO CROWDS!

It doesn’t take much for me to decide to protect my peace and move the heck on if something isn’t right. Trust me, I dodged a bullet! Nothing about laying on a crowded beach where you can’t even find a space to lay your towel seemed appealing to me. No thanks, you can keep it!

So all in all, You can basically say we just went down there for the food and the boardwalk vibe….hell, We were back home by 5 lol!

But to be honest, I’m just happy the beaches are back to being open and I’ll be heading back to Belmar and Springlake again!
